Providing Fresh Cape Cod Day Boat Sea Scallops
The Scallop Truck is a small, family-owned business located on Cape Cod, MA.
We aim to provide the freshest day boat sea scallops around! Our fishing vessel, Outlaw, fishes out of Hyannis, Provincetown and New Bedford. The scallops are harvested off the coast of Cape Cod, dredged from the sandy ocean bottom and shucked on board. Come meet Crystal, Max, Chase and Weston and pick up some of our delicious scallops!
Our Story
Both Max and Crystal grew up on Cape Cod and were raised by fishing families. Max knew from a young age that he wanted to be a fisherman. He learned the ropes from his father, Scott, who owned and operated clam boats. Max has worked in the fishing industry his entire life. From lobstering, clamming, scalloping, tuna fishing, bass fishing... you name it, he's probably done it! He currently is working as a boat manager and is very knowledgable and skilled in boat mechanics. His love for the industry, the sea and fresh seafood have led to the purchase of the F/V Outlaw, which is our 51-foot steel Rhode Island Marine that catches all the delicious scallops sold by The Scallop Truck!

Crystal, a Registered Nurse by trade, is the daughter of a local fisherman who happens to be the 2008 World Champion Oyster Shucker. She spent many hours as a kid filling out harvester tags, shucking bay scallops, picking oysters on the flats in Wellfleet and helping her dad out on the boat dragging oysters. She is the one you will see smiling and waving as you pull up to The Scallop Truck to buy your scallops!

Chase and Weston are the drive behind it all. They are a constant reminder of the company's core values: quality, commitment and sustainability. Chase is already aspiring to follow in his father's footsteps. He is incredibly passionate about fishing (obsessed, really). He loves spending time checking his crab traps at Rock Harbor and trout fishing at the pond. He is also a very proud salesman for The Scallop Truck. He likes to handle the money (which he sometimes sneaks into his piggy bank if you don't watch him closely). His baby brother, Weston, plays a critical role in the company by attracting customers with his charming personality and adorable smile.
